Ingredients

1 pound Tilapia Fillets
1 (chopped) Onion
1 (chopped) Green Bell Pepper
1 cup Artichoke Hearts
3 cups Water
1-1/2 cups Dry Couscous
1 can Or 14 oz Stewed Tomatoes
2 cloves Garlic Minced
12 (small) Green Olives
1 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tsp Capers
2 tsp Sumac Powder
1-1/2 tsp Red Chili Flakes
1 tsp Dried Basil
1 tsp Cumin
2 tbsp White Wine
2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 cup Water
1 tsp (minced) Ginger
to taste Black Pepper

A non-traditional Turkish Fish Stew that blends various other Mediterranean influences

Take a saucepan and pour 3 cups of water in it. Boil the water and stir it continuously

Now remove the water from heat and cover it. You have to let it be for at least 5 minutes

Now heat the olive oil in a skillet on a medium heat. Sauté the green pepper and onion together for 5 minutes. Mix the garlic and cook it while stirring for 2 minutes. Mix up the artichoke hearts with reserved liquid, olives and capers

Stir wine, tomatoes, lemon juice and 1 cup of water together

Stir them until you get a desired thickness. Season it with sumac powder and also adds red pepper, cumin, ginger, pepper and basil

Boil the entire mixture properly. When it gets boiled then mix the fish chunks into it

Low the heat when you add the fish chunks in it and simmer for 10 minutes only. Serve in a serving dish.
