Combine the 6 ounces dark brown sugar, rolled oats, baking powder, all-purpose flour, freshly ground allspice, freshly grated nutmeg & salt in a large bowl

Add the 1/4 cup unsalted butter and mix the dry ingredients well to form a crumbly texture. Fold in the 20 ounces frozen peach slices

Butter the bottom and sides of a 3 quarter cooker

Add the above mixture to the slow cooker and cook on low heat for about 3 to 3-1/2 hours
