12 Lasagna Noodles
3/4 pound Lean Beef
1 pound Sausages
16 oz Ricotta Cheese
3/4 pound Mozzarella Cheese
3/4 cup Parmesan Cheese
1 cup (minced) Onion
1 can (28 oz) Tomatoes
1 tsp Garlic Paste
2 cans Tomato Paste
2 cans Tomato Sauce
4 tbsp Parsley
2 tbsp Sugar
1-1/2 tsp Basil Leaves
1/2 tsp Fennel Seeds
1 tsp Italian Seasoning
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1 Egg
1 tbsp, 1/2 tsp Salt
1/2 cup Water

Lasagna is one of the most famous dishes in Italian cuisine. It is admired by eastern and western people. Lasagna requires a little bit effort but it taste worthy. My mother baked lasagna on my birthday. Take it and try it.

Cook sweet Italian sausages, lean ground beef, onion minced and garlic paste over a medium heat in a Dutch oven

Stir this cooked beef in crushed tomatoes, 6.5 oz or 2 cans of tomato sauce and water. At end, add dried basil leaves, white sugar, fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley and 1 table spoon salt. Cook it for about 1 or 1.5 hour to make it tender

Boil noodles for about 8-10 minutes in a salted water

Combine ricotta cheese with egg, ½ teaspoon salt and remaining parsley in a mixing bowl

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F

Spread meat mixture in the bottom of the baking dish. Arrange noodles length wise over meat mixture. Spread one half of the ricotta cheese mixture and 1/3 of mozzarella cheese slices. Again pour meat sauce and sprinkle ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese. Repeat this process with topping of mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. At end, cover with foil paper to avoid sticking

Baked for about 25 minutes. Remove the foil paper and again bake for 25 minutes. Cool it in open air and serve.
