Hash Brown is a dish which is easy to make and prepare. The pieces of potatoes are fried on a flat pan after shredded and diced. It is mostly eaten in North America as a staple breakfast food and is cooked on a grill or pan. The recipe name was given by food author named Maria Parloa in 1888 as “Hashed Browned Potatoes” which was reduced and shortened to be now commonly known as Hash Brown Potatoes.
